Whaddup, Im Big T owner of a 99 TC with about 115,000 miles. I have the most strangest, erratating problem. No one can seem to help me. Can You?

It all started when I was a nice guy for one day in my life. I gave someone a jump with my just purchased 99 TC. Once we hooked up everything and the job was done, they pulled off, and my veh was STUCK!!! WTF. I turned the key and all I could get is a clicking noise, no engine response. Waited for about 20 mins, the car started like its was brand new. Few days passed I notice that the windows were rolling up and down slower than normal, and few moments later the radio is flash on and off, then the dash, then the car cuts off , with no warning. NO CHECK ENGINE, NO NOTHING. About a hour later cuts back on like its new. Been doing this for 4 months now.

So far I:
Replaced the battery
Replaced the terminal post's
Replace the altenator three times (THREE TIMES)

and the same thing keeps happening. I took it to 3 local macanics, and to two different AutoZone's. No one knows whats wrong. On my way to the dealership to put it on a machine for $83. Just so they can tell me.

Can Anyone advise me on what you think is wrong.

Sorry for the long message. This is the biggest headache Ive had in a long time.

Big T (the new guy)

I would have to think somehow you have overheated a connection at the main power distribution box. At least I would start there. Not everyone here may agree, but, to each his own. Sometimes it will work, and sometimes it will not usually means overheated, or corroded large power feeds to the ignition switch......

Hi Big T

Fordace has given you a good place to start, another would be to check the engine grounds.

I don't know how many times that I've told people NOT to start the car being jumped while still connected. However, you're going to anyway, so, please, make sure either your headlights are turned on (high beam) or your heater blower is on high. This will help the system absorb the power surge when the other car starts. ELECTRONICS DON'T LIKE POWER SURGES.

Thank you.

Didnt think anyone would respond to this because Im a newbie. So with that said I apreciate all who responded. Im trying my best not to pay out another 500 dollars for something that is not the real solution. I will take all into concideration. And I will NOT give anyone else a jump.
