Sigh...that interior would be sooooo nice in a long/low/wide chassis like the Town Car. Things like those interior door handles are way too high for easy use, just like the Ford Five Hundred that it came from.

Is that the "self terminate" red button on the dash? :p

All the Ford mules have that…I wonder what it does?

I don't understand why they put only a small strip of wood on the steering wheel. I know many manufactures are doing it but I think the traditional wood wheel would look much better. I am surprised they did not use the aircraft yoke steering wheel design from the mkx, mkz.

Also notice some of the dials on the dash have no labels. Most obvious being the dimmer control.

Their cars catch on fire  Maybe its a fuel shut off switch :p

Budget cuts. They can still market it as a "wood" steering wheel and in reality they have used 10% of the wood that is found in the traditional wood wheel.

500? Try a '95 Conti! I hate them up there!

Good point, but the 500/MKS will be even higher because its beltline is higher. Well, I'm pretty sure of that because of my time with a 1999 Conti and a new Montego.

But I still like the lines (long hood, long overhangs, low beltline) of the Conti over these new Volvo-Fords. So that makes it better. ;)

I may trade the Town Car in on an MKS AWD... eventually.

Holy Crap! No kidding on the Volvo-Ford thing. That interior is straight out of the Volvo design notebook.

Take a look. (2007 Volvo s80)

speaking of great Lincolns, the entire 1956 line (Lincolns & Mark II's) won several awards for design lincoln performance parts (http://www.speedyperformanceparts.com/lincoln-parts.html) excellence. I like the MKS, just wish it had a better name.

That's it???

I'm not suprised that they cheapened the interior quite a bit from the concept. So far the car has not appealed to me. I like being overly judgemental :p

The new Caddy CTS with better exterior and interior styling and a 300hp V6 is calling my name but I'm too poor to answer. Too early to tell which one will be a better car.
