Well, looks like I'm going to have to replace the valve guide seals (I think). I've been blowing bluish smoke more and more lately, usually after sitting at a light for a few seconds. I read the instructions on the tech section for replacing the seals, is there anything I definitely should look out for? I've never really gone into an engine like that before and don't want to goof anything up too terribly. I'm quite familiar with brakes, suspension, electrical, general tuneup, heating/cooling, but not internal engine components. Any advice would be well appreciated!

Do what I do lol and use synthetic oil which burns remarkably less blue. Depends on how many miles you drive though as to which one is more feasible.

I changed mine out last month using the 'rope' method to hold the valves shut. If you are mechanically inclined, it's a fairly easy job, just take your time! Also, make sure the valve spring you're removing is on the correct cylinder...I almost pulled the keepers off the spring on the neighboring cylinder-I wasn't paying attention...would have dropped a valve  My car wasn't smoking, just using a quart every 800 miles. I haven't driven it enough yet to see if the oil consumption stopped.
