View Full Version : The Zephyr got towed :(

Thankfully it was nothing major....the shifter boot broke off and it wouldn't let the transmission shift out of park :eek:, luckily it was in our driveway. Got it towed within the hour and the dealer fixed it the next day, great service!

That's funny, our 1988 Cougar had the same problem back in 1989. Never happened after that.

It happened while I was at work, so I was thinking the worst or she didn't have her foot on the brake :D

I remember my wife calling me in tears because the steering wheel wouldn't unlock.....told her to jiggle it while turning - Vrooom!
