Has anyone attempted to install the 9007 Xenon HID Headlights Kit 95-02 Lincoln Town Car kit sold on eBay? This appears to be a complete plug & play kit. My 07 Designer has HID and I would like to install these on the 96. It is claimed they use less power so the circuit breaker should be OK with it. What say you???

I personally have no idea, but if I remember correctly, I believe some of the guys here stated that you would have to do a wiring upgrade? someone else will pop up here shortly that will be of more assistance ;)

I can't see why a wiring upgrade would be required. They claim this system uses less power than the standard lights. Maybe the ballast might require additional power? These are NOT just the lamps, it's claimed it's a complete kit. Cost was around $150 + $25 s/h/i. Let's see if there's additional input. Thanks!

I can tell you from personal experience that they do work, and you do not need to re-wire anything. They are true plug and play- just disconnect your lights and plug in the new ones. The hardest part (if you can call it that) is trying to figure out where to drill and hang the ballast.

Hey there...I sent my headlights for my 01 town car and this guy at www.izntrbl.com put Infinity projectors with a digital bi-xenon HID kit in my car...they kick a$$...there's a very straight line and they're bright as heck and they don't blind people because they are focused properly with the Infinity projectors. He did an amazing job - you could never tell that they aren't factory.

Those simple universal bulb kits many people hate, do some more research across the net too. Woby did it up the right way, along with Andrew and some others.

I had the regular kit at first and it was blinding people and light was going everywhere..so I got rid of it. The kit should come with the wiring harness and everything so it's all just plug n play so it's really easy. If your car uses one headlight for high/low beam make sure it's a bi-xenon HID kit or you will only have low beam.

www.izntrbl.com does NOT supply the $650 lense upgrades/replacements for the 1996 models. I would have to install the $159 kit. Considering the age/mileage on my 96, this may not be worth doing---East Coast car with some issues due to salt on the underside. Thanks to all for their advice.

Hello.
I am very sorry to have to barge in on your forums. We would like to get the attention of one of your members with the ID: w0by. We are the creators of the custom projector headlights he is driving around with, but we still to this day have not been paid for them. We would not like to get into detail. Robert may explain in full if he'd like. We would just like to have our item and services paid for. He has not been answering his phone, and hangs up while we call his work. We do not want to play the roll of the "dept collector", but we would like to have this issue resolved ASAP. If anyone may have some details that would help, that would be great. We do have two contact numbers as well as two emails for him on file, but they do us no good now.
Once again, sorry for this. We hope to get this straightened out soon.

Why would anyone ship an item BEFORE getting paid for it? Sounds like you set yourself up for a problem.

Like we said, we do not want to get into too much detail. Robert (w0by) may fill you in as to what transactions of the funds had been taken place.
Our concern right now is to have his past due amount due to $0.00, before needing to proceed any further.
Thank you.

Josh, it took you 9 months to send me the headlights and I finally disputed it...I already released the dispute now that I have the headlights......I think that you can wait a few weeks for your ridiculous PayPal account to show that you've been paid. You have like 20 people wanting money from you. Don't come on here trying to make me look bad.
