Side mirrors loose

Is there any way to tighten up the side mirrors? Because on my car, everytime I close the door the side mirrors rattle. It's pretty anoying, so any advise would help.

The spring part is loose or the base itself?

if its the base, swivel the mirror, and you'll see two bolts(probably a bit rusty) give them a sqeeze and see if that helps.

Well it's just the top part where the mirror is inside. The actual base that's mounted on the door is not loose, I can wiggle the upper part that is connected to the base though, so it's pretty loose.
