Sadly, no. But if it was a steal, you can put the cash towards a paint job. If you do the prework and just have it trailered to a paint shop, you can get a good quality paint job for a decent price. One Way can get you pointed in the right direction for this kind of advice.

yep, that's what they call "car cancer" down here, probably was near salt water and not washed as frequently as it should have been. Hot car, though, black LSC!

I wonder if that is fully through the color coat or if it is just the clear. My theory is that it could be wet sanded down and a fresh shot of clear to bring it up? But then again, if you got a steal and it's mechanically sound, you would be fully justified in a proper refinishing job.

Yep got it for 800 dollars, has aboslutely no rust at all, Did a carfax and this car is from neveda! Mechanically it is flawless, rebuilt tranny, engine is smooth as butter. black Interior has every option except the heated seats, even has the original phone in it. only thing it needs after going through everything is rear neon ballast and paint.

the only thing is that its been laying there for 2 years, according to the owners. And the oil change sticker shows that the next oil change due was may of 2006 or 170k miles and the car only has 167k. So that there is pretty obvious.

Given how long it's been sitting, I would change all the fluids and have a good, close look at everything rubber. But you probably had that planned, right?

Make sure to hit those seats with some conditioner too :)

Why why do I read these posts and constantly tease myself lol. I want to find a STEAL on a Gen 2 like that lol. Good job on findin the car for such a great price
