New kid on the block here. Very informative site. Thank You. :)

'98 Mark 8 LSC w/ 112,000mi.

My question is have these wiper arms been swapped?

Usually a drivers side arm has a bend down to it, so that the wiper blade lays parallel to the cowl line or bottom of the windshield on a lot of vehicles.

This " appears" to have 2 passenger side arms on it.

Nope, those are original. I think early Mark VIII's had assymmetrical blade sizes as did Thunderbird and Cougar for those years, but your Gen II vehicle has both 22" blades. Your arms are identical to my 1998 which is completely stock.

Trico blades sold at PepBoys are OEM to the car, by the way.

Thank You. :)

I just bought some PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades for it, installed yesterday when I noticed how the arms are.

Bought them for my '94 F-150 too. Last time I went looking for refills for the truck [standard 18in refills] I had to go to 5 places. :(

I just said the heck with it and ordered the silicone blades. I've wanted them for sometime now. I've had them before when you could buy them in town, but no one sells them now. If they do, they will not sell many wiper blades as they really do last. :)
