The switch that turns off the traction control on my '93 does not light up the "off" light when pressed. The traction control still seems to work correctly when spinning. Does anyone know how to test the switch to see if it is faulty or know what else to check?

if the system operates as it should, either allowing or preventing wheelspin depending on selection, the indicator lamp may be shot. Not impossible

The bulb isn't terribly difficult to replace. It's mounted on the side of the button assembly.

When you find it, it twists out similarly to the bulbs for the check engine/etc. lights.

Rereading my post I wasn't clear in that the traction assist doesn't turn off at all. When I hit the button the light doesn't come on and the assist activates on wheel spin.

Thanks
