Pulled out the radiator today because it was leaking and gonna change it out. While i was at it I pulled the water pump and the thermostat as well. Thinking about putting in an electric waterpump. Can anybody tell me if there is much benifit or should I just replace with OEM? If the electric is a good idea, what model? Thanks...:) Also what temp thermostat is OEM? Wanna stick with the OEM...:)

I'm gonna do it if/when my water pump ever dies. Will you actually notice the difference at the wheels? I doubt it. But every little bit helps.
Stant 14089 is listed as the factory temp at 188. You could also get a geniune Ford one for fifteen bucks from one of the wholesale guys.

ok.... I just got this one from autozone rated at 195.. The comp said that it meets oem standards. Should that be ok? Oh and I just got a direct replacement. $42 sounds better than some prices i was getting for the electric. Not planning on any heavy mods so if its that little amount of perfomance than I will save the extra cash.....:) thanks

Yeah seven degrees won't matter in the big scheme of things, the manufacturing tolerance is probably greater than that anyways...
