Am i right in thinking the 93 mk8 is the same as the 93 towncar that quite a bit cheaper?

Looks like $83 vs $69. Not enough of a difference to merit trying to make a different part work.

I mean, you could take them apart and swap the center shaft so you have the correct hub... but I wouldn't recommend it.

I would get the motorcraft, If you are going to order it then I would go with Max.

I used to sell the cardone units. They're not bad, as long as you don't mind replacing the water pump every other year or so. You figure the first Motorcraft one lasted fifteen years and it's a no brainer.
