Hi all :)
On my Townie, the rear window seal (lower portion,) has what looks like mildew residue on it. Although it looks like it is fairly severely covered in it.

Does anyone know of a product that will get it out? or at least get rid of some of it.........most of what you see there is hidden by the trunk when it is closed, but pop the trunk, and.....yeesh.
I tried Back-to-Black with no avail. Has anyone else found something to remove it? Or does it really not bother you? It doesn't really bother me, but, it would look better if the residue wasn't there. :)

With the simple green, use a wet green scrungie (grab one from the kitchen).

I'm more inclined to think it's not residue; rather, the top layer of the rubber is worn off.

Simple Green did the job
It looks about 85% better. If I scrubbed a little harder, and I did it a few cycles, it would probably get 99% of it out of there. Still looks very good. Can't even see anything on there except a few little spots if you are REALLY up close :)

SSO, talk about a clean act-WOW!

I use a bug-scrubber-sponge on a lot of my car with weekly washing, that sort of thing might keep your window seal like new indefinitely without the harshness.
