Hello All,
I have just found this site, thought you would like to know that we built a hot rod Lincoln. She is a 1997 Lincoln Towncar that has a 5.4 with 352hp & 410tq that does the 1/4 mile in 13.31 sec. You can view the ride at http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/registry/16549 or get additional data on the build. Let me know what you think.

Very cool. I have thought about eventually doing that swap in my 94. Don't see time or money permitting that for a long time though. Thank you for coming over here and posting. Glad to see some performance love being shown to the Towncar. Usually it's the vic that gets all the attention in that regard. Like I said, I would love to but circumstances just won't allow it currently. Oh yeah, and welcome to the boards.

oooh, I want that in a box Townie, maybe something like an 87 Cartier with an 03+ frame.
What are you using for exhaust on that? Looks like a cross between a Mustang X and stock towncar pieces? If you're running the stock 2" tailpipes yet, you can replace those with the Dynomax pipes for a 96 Impala SS. They're a 2 1/2" pipe that matches that over-axle bend almost perfectly. They do end short of where the stock Lincoln pips end, but a piece of straight pipe and a turn-down gives you a nice larger tailpipe that sits in there like a stocker. The stock tails are pretty measly, especially for that motor.
