HI All,

Long time no see.
Back in 2000-2003 I had a 95 Signature/Spinnaker, Green with Ivory/Evergreen interior moonroof, etc. which was traded in at 175k for a 2000 Crown Vic with HPP, I then drifted away from LOL.

A year ago I got married, the Crown Vic front end was completely shot with all joints either seized or floppy and thus I traded the Vic in for a Brand New 2007 Redfire V6 manual Stang with parchment interior.

But alas I still pined for my Town Car and all her luxury, constanly checking the ads for a car with my old car's color schemes and options.

As my wife and I approached our one year anniversary and she told me we must go to maryland for a job interview for her.

Well long story short i now am the proud owner of a 1995 Signature/Spinnaker Green with evergreen/ivory interior with a moonroof, JBL sound, heated seats, compass, CD changer, 16 inch rims, and only 79K miles, which was an anniversary present and one heck of a surprise!

Sadly I have forgotten the areas to keep an eye on with these cars, I know the engine and transmission is bulletproof as long as certain maintenance tasks are performed.

The car has been impeccably maintained as far as I can tell and it even has very little tranny shudder

My question is, what should I do now to prevent future costly problems? am I right in assuming the power steering system can be an issue if not flushed? What would you guys suggest I do without further delay if you were in my position?

Your expertise is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Charles

I would change all the fluids unless your wife has the maintenance records from the previous owner.

Lots of little stuff. Take a browse in the tech section. Biggest concern I would have is transmission if it still has original fluid. The blend door actuator crapping out is a common problem as well. Since you have a 1995 you luckily aren't plagued by the crappy plastic intake manifold they started using in 1996. Welcome back and post up some pics/keep us posted!
