any idea's ? the vehicle wont go past 2987 rpm and is charging @14.70volts

Gary, you're going to have to clear all codes and retest. This alt system uses the PCM as a monitor, without the correct interface tools, it's going to be very difficult to say what is wrong here.

sorry for the delay in replying, i cleared the trouble codes and it come back virtually immediately. I am using a full enhanced package of www.autoenginuity.com (http://www.autoenginuity.com).

I was told to check the continuity between the alt and the pcm ??
i have not done this yet, You got any ideas for me ??
