What years are compatible parts wise?
I have a 86 base. What years would be compatible with me for a parts car?

For body parts any year will do.
Running gear is a mis-mash, what are your ultimate goals? I'm a little rusty on all of the breakdowns but you will want at least to keep with the same type of fuel injection system if you are keeping original. Is it a standard VII, Bill Blass or LSC? The LSC's will have the H.O. and specific air springs. The later H.O. (late '87/88 ) has the E7 heads which flow marginally better than the earlier models. In 90 the interior changes to accomodate the air bag With changes in the dash and door panels. Any VII is worth saving if you have the space and funds.
