Guys, along with my horrible gas mileage I noticed that when I use my AC my engine seems to really drag along with some pretty noticeable vibrations inside the car occur. Is this normal? Sometimes I feel I'm perhaps getting too sensitive to the different noises in my ride, but either way it is bothering me. Any input?

No clue guys? Let me further say that while on the freeway, cruising at 75MPH, I could hear the AC compressor cycling and could feel a slight vibration. Any hints at all?

Well. look at the compressor when it engages and see if the pully is damaged, or the clutch is vibrating. You should not get any vibrations from the AC compressor.
Also take a look at all the pulleys, also look at the balancer and the fan for sources of vibration. Also check your engine mounts, if they are really old and dry, they will not isolate vibrations as well.

AS far as the drag goes. All of my LSCs had noticeable drag with AC on.

If the compressor is self-destructing, it could be harder to turn than it should be. Clogged up orifice tube and general poor condition of the system could contribute to this too. When I replaced the compressor on my Towncar, most of that drag and loading went away. The old one wasn't grinding itself to bits, but it didn't have a proper oil charge in the system which apparently did some damage to the compressor's internal bearings.
