i am getting mt car ready for paint, i was wondering if you could take the moldings off the two little back windows without taking the entire moulding out? whoever had the car before i did must have had the windows replaced because there is a black gunky sealer around the egde of the molding and i dont want to have ugly paint lines. i wanted to take the moulding off some of the gunk and get a paint line. thanks guys

No, there is no way to remove the trim from the 1/4 windows. The rubber and trim is molded onto the glass. However, the entire window comes out very easily. Just unbolt it from the inside and gently pry it away from the body.
