For the longest time my passenger window was stuck in the up position due to what I thought was a faulty window motor. Well, this weekend I replaced my seat switches with ones I purchased from a fellow LOL member, and wouldn't you know my window works now!?!?!?! What's the deal?

It's evident you have a shaky connection in that door that got "wiggled" during your repair ;)

Could have been a common ground was tightend/connected properly.

bad connection repaired accidentally is my bet as well. Those systems are otherwise unrelated.

Okay guys, now my window doesn't work again. Can I pretty much count out the window motor as the issue due to these latest events?

I'd say so. Time to double check your grounds. Bad grounds are the spam of our cars;)

Where should I investigate said grounds? Also, when I push the switch for the window I hear a little noise inside the door. It's very similiar to the clicks that occur when your battery cables are loose.

Could be anywhere, first off try grounding the door to the chassis. The hinge could be providing your intermittent ground.

Hold the window button and have someone slam the door. If it works again, the brushes are sticking or brush springs are trashed in the motor. Replace the motor.
Yah, I know.... but I've done it more than once...
