My dad told me to come on here he said I would probably find what I need. He just gave me his 1991 lsc cause he moved out of state and the air ride is shot in the front. I just want to eliminate it & do the springs. So if you have what Im looking for please let me know :)

Welcome to LoL! Use the search function and type in "spring conversion" (without the quotes). You'll have more info than you'll know what to do with. Good luck.

I just noticed you lived in Sterling Heights, MI. I lived in Madison Heights, Troy and West Bloomfield way back in the 80's!

Just my opinion but it would probably be cheaper and easier to replace the air springs:)

Yep.. A pair of air springs from strutmasters will cost you $160. Their coil spring conversion kit for the front is $200. Air springs are the biggest piece of cake to install too. The fear and sticker shock people get with the suspension on these cars is entirely unwarranted. I've heard many reports of quotes in the $1000+ dollar range. Its amazing, and entirely unreasonable given how simple these things are to work on. The parts are really not that expensive either to be honest.

I've never ridden in a coil spring Mark VII, but I have ridden in Mustangs. I'll keep my air suspension thanks.

First of all, define "shot". Do you know what the problem is?
It would be a shame to do all that work and spend all that money if the problem is simply some leaky o-rings at the dryer....that would put you back less than $2 to replace.

I would do as has been said, and look at the orings and a few other thigns first. You may fix it much cheaper than you think.

However, I will say that the Coil conversion is not the nasty beast it has been made out to be. I have the full conversion on my '91 LSC SE, and I love it. And no, it doesn't ride like a Mustang. More BMW 7-series-ish.
