Am I the first here to own a Lincoln MKS? Brought him home today.

It's a 2009 (ok, december 2008) MKS, Dark Ink Blue with Charcoal Interior. Ultimate Package.

I know, it looks black, waiting for some sunshine...

Wow, that really looks like black in that lighting.

Tell us how that Nav system is to use after a few weeks. Looks like an easy read.

Used it to go home. The interface is all touch screen. The keyboard isn't typewriter, its a-z (sucks IMHO) it uses a letter "sieve" to limit your next selection based on what the previous letter was. I forget the programming term, anatoly's sieve or something like that..... so it cuts down a little on entry time.

saved the house as the #1 Destination,I saw 6 on the first screen, I don't know if there are more. picked an Icon etc... Told it to take us home. It did, usually had the next 3 turns displayed on the right side of the map next to the overall. The Speed Limit was displayed for the road also, Nice touch. No lag like I've seen on other systems (BMW DVD based) the Icon turned the corner when I turned the corner. Haven't even dug into Sync yet, or paired the Bluetooth. Note to others, NO cargo net, seperate purchase from the Dealer $56 Kinda cheaped out there. I kept the one from the Mark VIII.

The auto cruise control is nice also, kept the distance nicely, display on the dash goes from Green to yellow to indicate action.

Hey, now, I'm not that hard to get along with!

Looks very nice - is everyone happy with it? How are you liking the AWD? Pick one picture or send a full body shot for your RIDES page, hmm? ;)

Very cool. Sounds like the NAV is like Acuras...and I forgot about the auto cruise control Definitely a tech savvy ride.

if the motortrend auto show is in your are soon Go! its worth the ten bucks and you get a years subscription! stop by the ford booth and with no gimmick they will PAY YOU $50 to test drive any ford you want. this is great because you can test out the new mks (like i did) and walk away with $50 bucks without having a salesman give you a hard time about your next purchase simply tell him you want you money
