I am looking for the vinyl top material for a 1972 Mark IV. It is called Calvary Twill. I need white. Does anyone know where I might find some?

Hi: I sold 69-71 MARK III parts for 35 years. The correct top will be hard to find--as you found out. I would recommend LCOC -Lincoln Continental Owners Club--or HMN--Hemmings Motor News. Both can be found online. Rarely on eBay but you never know! Measure your seams so that you'll have an idea of what is offered. Many claim their's is correct but you must be careful. How I wish that I "should have" deleted the roof covering on my 70 MARK III--you could do that on a DSO--very rare if original. My roof is in great shape but these roofs are a problem replacing with the correct material. Do you plan to remove all of the trim when you replace it? If you don't, it may not be worth the time/trouble finding the correct material.

I used a place years ago in PA for a top for this 75 bird and got good results. Seems to me it was called "Thunderbirds East".
If they're still in buisness they might be able to help. Make sure to measure the seams and take closeup pics.;)

I wish I could remember the name, there is a place in Michigan that stocks vintage fabrics/vinyls for just about anything...I saw a Mark IV's interior done up in original seat vinyl (covering all hard plastics) and it was absolutely amazing. The grain was spot on.
If I can find the name, I'll post it...but start looking in Michigan.

I didnt see the heading 'Rides' I was looking for the word Gallery when i looked. im a member of 2 lincoln forums, 2 buick forums, a chrysler minivan forum, station wagon forum, and motorhome forum and its hard to keep up with them all. Ive just now started trying to visit this one on a regular basis. I usually visit from work, so ill start looking around, then get distracted... BUT i will check out the rides section and add mine to it.
