Greetings everyone!
I just purchased an old continental, 1970 model, and had a few questions someone might be able to answer about leaded vs unleaded fuel...
I got this off an old farmer and he was pretty insistent that no work had ever been done to the motor.. I will do a stroke/rebuild or 521 swap but not until next winter. Until then, should I run the normal 93 octane unleaded or run 93 along with some lead subsitute I've seen for sale, or am I going to have to run 100 octane LL all the time? Will I have to pull some timing? The car wont be drove much.
Thanks for any info/suggestions, it's appreciated!
