Ok guys, what is the mystery. I bought a 98-02 mirror off ebay in my exact color. The plug is brown, 6 pin housing, with only 5 wires. 2 for the glass and 3 for the motor. I took mine off and I have a seperate 4 pin plug and a big huge plug to the motor, there is like I think 6 or more wires. How do I know now how to get the right mirror?

Also does the body color part of the mirror come off? This is the only problem with mine, it is all cracked up.

On the 2001, there appears to be a lot of wires associated with the memory mirrors. The 2 motors usually require 3 wires, but with memory it needs 8 wires for the functions (includes extras for position sensors). Then there are heated mirrors that need 2 wires and day/night mirrors that need an extra 2.

Hope this helps.
