92 Executive, white with dark red (burgundy) interior and matching canvas top.
Analog dash.
179,xxx well used up miles.
Runs like an ace! Wash it and it looks good too!
Selling as a whole parts car or possible fixer upper.
The bad:
Alternator.
Battery.
Air-ride has a short somewhere around rear axle or in the trunk (springs are currently down).
Tires are junk (hold air but busted belts i e can't drive on them).
Has Lacey wheels but center caps are missing (that happens).
Heater core is shot.
Both front doors need hinges.
Canvas top door pieces have nicks from the bad hinges making the doors rub.
Drivers front door window needs plastic regulator plugs.
Passenger side front door has broken handle on outside.
ABS light is on, (that just happened while sitting) got me.
Usual smoke from an early 4.6 (valve stem seals).
That's everything I can think of.
The good:
Everything that isn't in the bad list.
Very quiet.
Very pretty TC.
Paint is still about 100%.
Has one rust spot by pass side tail-light. (Paint was scratched and I never bothered to fix it). Otherwise No Rust.
Never wrecked, no dents aside from a few grocery cart dings on trunk lid and pass side front door.
Interior leather is exceptional (two small holes in drivers seat, cig burns I think. And drivers side front door panel is rough). Otherwise a good cleaning would make it darn near perfect.
Has a 95 4R70W transmission in it (yes, it's a later model 92 and I made the swap).
New antifreeze (I by-passed the heater core when it went).
Car is in Lakewood NY: 35 miles south-east of Erie PA.
Would need to be trailered or dollied or at least tires changed to be towed.
Has clean NY 'Rebuilt' Title. (Was stolen and interior was trashed and tires and wheels stolen. Insurance junked it for that).
Interior and wheels/tires were replaced and NY title inspected and passed (that's why the R title; back in 03 I think).
Disclaimer:
I'm selling As Is.
I'm asking $350.
That's just what my local junk yard will give me for it.
Car has been sitting and I stopped keeping up with it a while ago. But it will fire right up with a good battery.
I think I covered everything that's wrong in this write up.
But I don't want to hear that if you buy it...
I didn't mention something I wasn't aware of or that the fenders fell off when you got it home. (They won't, just so it's understood, I don't want to hear about it if they do! ;) )
I'd like to see it go to somebody that could use/would appreciate it though.
Please don't bother asking for parts. Selling whole car only!
