After many years of faithful service, my venerable 1991 LSC is going on the block. The interior is an 8.5 out of 10, black leather with the option "luxury" seats. Only problem is a small tear and small amount of wear on the outside of the driver's seat, and the steering wheel is a bit soft and gooey. The rest is immaculate.

Outside is a recent repaint black cherry color, no rust at all. Drive train is great, may be a small leak at water pump, but otherwise top notch at 133K miles. Trans shifts great, recently changed fluid and filter (~2K miles ago). Motor was replaced by the factory at 61K because an idiot at a dealership didn't put oil back in after the service, so it really only has less than 80K on it. But here's this list of known problems that's causing me to sell:

1) ABS shot, pedal goes to the floor, even after flushing the lines. $575 to remanufacture (all parts included) the ABS unit, but the labor would kill me. Also likely needs pads and rotors, maybe even calipers.

2) Driver's window motor died.

3) Fuel "DTE" always reads 0, needs sensor (no longer available).

4) A/C and heat work well, but for some reason you need to set the heat to 85 or 90 and the a/c to 60 or 65 to get it to work right. Probably needs a sensor or something but I've been told it's no longer available.

Other than that, it's in great shape, newish high end tires as well. All factory options except phone, even has the factory garage door opener and fog light covers. I have a nice Sony radio with a 50Wx4 (clean) Pioneer amp in it with Pioneer speakers, will probably pull and save that unless you want to buy that too. Only performance options was installation of a K&N filter and removal of the air baffle, but I still have all original parts as well. I was thinking of asking $2000 for it (I'm sure the parts are worth that easily) but I'm open to offers. This thing was garage kept and babied for 10 years, but I've only put about 5-6K miles on it in the last 10 years and it's time to go to a new home where it'll be fixed and driven like it should...

It was pointed out (politely) that my asking price was...er...a *bit* high. So I'm cutting it in half to $1000/obo. Remember, great drivetrain, body, interior, all air suspension working perfectly, etc. Even has the original fog light covers!

Alternatively, if someone fairly locally to the Wash DC metro area wants to help part it out for 50% of the money received, I'm reluctantly willing to go that route as well. Not my first option, but money talks...

I got a few minutes yesterday and took some pictures. The sun was going down so they're a bit dark, but if there are any specifc pics you want I'll try to shoot more. Hopefully it'll give you good idea of how nice the car is. The only thing you really can't see is the color: it looks black in the pictures but it's actually black cherry: it glows dark red in direct sunlight. Send me an email at ib_kuda at hotmail dot com and I'll give you the address...

Thanks! Oh, and by the day, the front grill looks funny for a reason: that's a custom removable bug guard on the front grill. It's make of plastic mesh (so it won't rust) and doesn't block any air to the motor. It's held in with four little spring clips so you can pop it off if you're trying to show the car. I just leave it in there. The grill underneath is perfect...
