Hello friends. I find out today that I will be transferred overseas and the country I'm going to does not allow cars to be imported (actually they allow but the tax amount is ridiculously high). I'm afraid my 2003 LTC will have to go. I'm not in a hurry because I will only move around Nov. / Dec. '09, but I want to try selling my car starting now. It's in excellent shape and I just did the front brakes last month . Everything works from the rain sensor wipers, parking sensors with light and sound notification, heated seats, 2 pre-set seating positions. I'm in the Indianapolis, IN area. Garage kept, clean title and no accidents. Asking price: $9,500. My e-mail: john.silver2008A@yahoo.com

My '00 will have to do for now, but that is a sweet looking Townie. If the meats are in new shape the price is good. I hope the economy allows you a quick sale, and an wishing you all the best in your new place and position. Sheesh, NO Lincoln, I'd be saddened because you know you'll be crunched up in one of those tin cans. Seems like everyone but us knows how to protect their industrial products from foreign influx. Shoot, we not only invite them to sell their junk here, but give them billions to build more factories. A man deserves his TC, especially when he is away from the comforts of home. Care to share where you are going? Well I reckon that part is for the Lounge, sorry.

Thank you guys for the comments on my LTC. The car is indeed in an excellent shape, the interior is in like new condition and everything works on it, from the back-up sensors, to the automatic rain sensor, heated seats and pre-set seating positions. Also it has new rotors / brakes and new tires. By the way, I'm also sorry that I will have to drive one of the "tin can" cars where I'm going....I will miss my V8 Lincoln....by what I saw when I was in Brazil earlier this year, 70% of the people drive VW / Fiats / Chevys with the 1.0 Liter (YES, 1.0 Liter) engines and if I'm lucky perhaps a 1.6 maybe 1.8 Liter....of course, all of them, 4 bangers....I drove them and since all the cars have manual transmission, it can be fun in the city, but not nice on the highway....Well, at least I will have the beaches and summer almost year round....My company will transfer me early 2010, most likely January. I had about 3 people interested and 1 made an offer that was too low. Again, if anyone wants to do a test drive, let me know.
