mkt at my dealership

we have a 2010 MKt at the dealership. we had a classic car show over the weekend and the MKT was on hand for people to climb in and out and play with. This is a fully loaded MKt with ecoboost , park assist and all the features available- Expected to cost just over $50k. It is a pretty nice vehicle, a little longer than a Flex, but the 3rd row isnt for anyone over 5' 5" as there is no headroom due to the slope of the roof.from the responses we recv'd, it may actually be a seller. we'll just have to see. we also have begun getting in the Mks with ecoboost and 2010 options. the ecoboost is a nice engine. u can really feel the difference when driving and the paddle shifters are just flat out fun (even though they fell a little cheap). would take some pic's but i think by now we all have been "up close' to the mkt.........and the 2010 tauruses are running out the door. we are pre-ordering those things like crazy (just in case u guys were wondering how those are doing)

FWD is not my thing! To me, RWD is the only way to go. You might be selling these but no FWD for me.

Just had my "formal" training on the 2010 mkt yesterday....the thing is very nice. much of the same technology in the mks...we did play with the park assist and it is great. can park on both sides of the street if needed...searches for spots it can fit in and the spot only needs to be 20% larger than the car. car is naturally rwd when you get a vehicle with awd (this is what we were told). when u opt for ecoboost engine u get many other options as well: including elec-steering, 20" wheels, awd..so the eco-boost becomes a $1400 option intead of the $4-5k sticker for it. downfalls i saw were the lack of headroom in the 3rd row and no front parking sensors when u get the park assist. it drives really well and is super quiet in the inside.
