I have a 91 TC with a brake pedal that has to be pulled up with my toe of my shoe.
I don't think the service bulletin applies, since it took all these years to come up.
Other cars I have worked on have a master cylinder that has an internal spring to return the pedal.
Is this the same on a 91TC?

Hi Wd40

Welcome dude :cheer:

The spring in a master cylinder probably wouldn't be strong enough to actually push the pedal back if it was sticking.

Not much will cause a sticking brake pedal have you checked the pedal isn't siezing on its pivot?

My money would be on the brake booster though.

Dereck, thanks for the reply. I started thinking the same thing. It would be easier to replace the master cylinder than the booster.

Odd though after while you get use to pulling the brake pedel up with your toe.
