Any motorcycle gurus on here?

I inherited my father's motorcycle after his passing and now I have a little extra money that I would like to put in to it. He built in 2001 and I've been told it's a late 90s Harley Evo motor 1340cc on an aftermarket frame. Since built its never had any gauges, and I would like to change that but I don't know exactly what to buy. I would like a speedo, tach, neutral light, etc. I don't think the bike has any type of speed sensor. Any help would be appreciated and I can try and answer any questions or take pictures.

Go to your local Harley dealer and start an inquiry. Contact the local clubs and get a feel for similar machines. They'll all be different but you'll learn from those with features in common with what your want to do.

Went and talked to my local Harley guru/motor builder. He tells me that the early Evo motors were noting special when it comes to gauges but later ones ( fuel injected ) have the computer involved with everything like the new econoboxes. Pre-2000 it's probably carbed so not a problem.
