part numbers...or other vehicles...

my trusty mark is barely hanging in there, after getting a rebuilt tranny put in...it ran an still runs great...however...a deer committed suicide by running into my drivers side front or i think its friend pushed her into hte car as there was another one directly behind her and tapped her butt when i approached in the dense fog....

anyone know the part numbers so i can match them up for a : rad support, header panel, hood and drivers side fender???...insurance company is gonna write my baby off, but i get to buy it back as salvage and keep the car...so the repairs are minor on my part, just expensive to the insurance company...like over 5000 g's...

also...i know people won't like reading this...but...as there are very few and inbetween mark 7s way up here in norhtern alberta...which or can i get the parts i need from a cougar or thunderbird...theres a 87 or 88 blue thunderbird close by...my car is brown...but...i can always get a paint job...

OR...is anyone in canada that has one for junk and willing to scrape it or in the States and willing to (don't know how that would work with the border thing) send me the parts???? may be cheaper to get the parts off of a differnet vehicle...

also...speaking of the thunderbird...would the locking mechanism work , such as that skinny lil wire that runs from the door lock to the door handle...mine is all bent and won't lock no more on passenger side...

The sheetmetal on a Mark is specific to the Mark as far as I know. Couger fenders probably do not work. The rods in the doors might interchange with a Couger but its hard to say for sure.

The rods should interchange. The doors are the same as early Thunderbirds/Cougars from '83-'86. The later doors are very similar, but the trim differs slightly. Fenders will swap over, but you'd have to swap the entire front end. Good luck. It'll be worth saving the car if you love it.

i love my lil brown beast......thats why i'm gonna buy it back from teh insurance company...trannies only got under 5000 k on it...and i'm getting 24.6 miles to the gallon ... 286.000+ MILES on it...and lots left in her...

so, to recap here...83-86 cougars AND thunderbirds are teh ones to get the front end from????meaning..i have to change both fenders???

no the doors from the older cougars and birds work, the front end is very specific to the mark.
I KNOW someone up north has got to be able to sell a fellow LOLer some body parts.
The radiator support i believe is still for sale....online

as for the rest of the parts id start huntin ebay.

83-86 Tbird and Cougar doors work.

Mark VIIs use unique fenders, hood, header panel, etc.

My friend is parting out an 86 LSC, I think the header and fenders are OK, but shipping from TX will murder you.

well, i'm willing to pay, if it don't cost to much...i have a cougar , rather, had a cougar header panel on it already...just had to saw off the lil nubs on teh side to get it to fit properly...the grill fit perfectly on it....in all honesty...the fender and hood is all i need...i think a rad support is findable off of a cougar/t-bird....ii'm hoping....i'll have to get to the big city a.s.a.p...but my schedule won't let me go till end of july...so...for now...i need a header panel so i can have lights again...oh yea, htats another thing i need...drivers side head light...

if you all give me enuff ideas, then i can plan ahead for my trip...and start looking...
