Valve cover gasket replacement
I've read a few people indicate replacing the valve cover gaskets isn't that bad, just time consuming and is a rather common problem. I've got the shop manual CD and will browse that tonight. Dealer wants $1100 to do the work - so I'm going to do it myself. Any thoughts on what I should expect? Thanks, Mark.

it is not too hard - but be prepared for a very frustrating day of work.
you will need every extension and u-knuckle in your socket set - since many of the bolts are under, back and impossible to see. you will also need a 7mm gear wrench - I only found it at Lowes. buy a small pack of di-electric grease to slather on the boots. don't buy the parts from the dealer - get them from FastPArtsNetwork.com or TeamFord.com - they will be almost 40% cheaper.
