The
Vehicle Certification Label is located on the LH front
door lock panel or door pillar. The upper half of the
label contains:
- The name of manufacturer
- Month and year of manufacture
- Gross vehicle weight rating
- Gross axle weight rating
- Certification statement
The label also
contains the 17-character Vehicle Identification Number,
used for warranty identification and information about
the vehicle. The VIN is also located on a small metal
plate attached to the upper dash on the drivers
side of the vehicle.
