MARK VII STOCK HUB MODIFICATION FOR SN-95 WHEELS
Submitted by Disney Lincoln and FLA-LSCSE / 08-14-05

Introduction

This is what MUST be done to a stock front hub in order to clear an SN95 style wheel with factory Mark VII hubs. This does not apply to real 1995 Mustang Cobra R wheels or the 1994-1996 Mustang Cobra wheel.

Let's Get Started

I used a 4" angle grinder for the job. You can see in the pictures of the finished front rotor that I only cut back about 3/4" to 1" at the most. The red paint you see in the pictures is what I use to find the high spots. I grind on it for a bit, then paint it, then test fit it, and if it's hitting anywhere it will rub off the paint.

After it was all done I painted the hubs all black since you cannot put center caps on. Nobody that has looked at the car has EVER noticed (or said anything) about the lack of center caps on the front.
